How I spent Valentine's Day.....................

I took this picture at the airport, one of my favorite destinations when taking a little ride.  The small amount of sunshine of the day outlined the mountains as squall like winds and snow blew down the canyons.  I was lucky to catch this even though the sky looked ominous.

The last three days it has felt like April, instead of February.  On Sunday we had high winds with garbage dumpsters sailing down the street, branches breaking,  I even lost some paint from some trim on the house!  Then yesterday it rained, and rained and rained.  Then last night it snowed - not much but enough to make us wonder what's coming next.  Actually that's fairly common for our part of the country.  We don't know if the temperature is going to be 15 degrees or 65 on the next day.  That's what makes life interesting here, but it's a little hard to dress for the day.  We love our state, though.  Have a beautiful day, I'm planning to.

I guess a pair of glove, a pair of boots and something waterproof with a hood are all in order if you're going to be ready for the day where you live! There is still a fair amount of winter left!

Your weather sounds similar to Manitoba. It can change so drastically from day to day.

That's a wide range of weather to deal with. We've warmed up over here already to 80 during the day. It just happened all of a sudden. Last week we were still in the 60s. Actually perfect weather for me, so hope it stays around and that the real heat doesn't set in too soon. I was still hoping to have some time to grow some lettuce and stuff on my balcony. Have a good day!
