A season..........

Right now it seems like this is a season of nothingness.  A time to stay in bed or not get dressed until 10.  A time to go to bed early.  I have not taken pictures or created anything. I look at my basket of fabric and know I want to make 2 quilts for my great grandchildren.  I know it and I just look at it.  At least I keep my house reasonably clean and groceries in the house but that's about all.  I don't have the interest or desire to do anything. I started crying when I was washing my hair the other day.   I hope it doesn't last forever.  I really wanted to write an upper post but after staring at it for an hour I decided to just write.

My blogging friends have been so supportive and loving but there's a limit.  You soon get tired of reading downer stuff.  I'm sorry.  I'm really praying that soon I will get my enthusiasm and zest for life back.     Diane

Diane, it will take as long as it needs. In the meantime, people who come to read your posts come because you are real. What you are going through is so very real. My heart goes out to you. I am honoured that you would post this and trust us with your day.
Hugs.
Honora

It's normal, Diane. You shouldn't apologize. The first year is the hardest. Don't push yourself. But don't allow yourself to get too down either. Eventually you will find your zest again and slowly you will start to come back to life, bit by bit. It's a process. And writing your feeling downs, expressing yourself is part of healing. Take care. Big hugs, Tammy

Hard to get the motivation in the dark cold months. Just enjoy relaxing and listen to yourself! Xo bean

Diane, don't apologize for your tears and sadness. You have said good-bye to one who is very dear to you and that pain goes deep.Just allow the healing to take place SLOWLY,over time and it can be a long time, but that's ok.If sharing about it here on the blog helps in even a tiny way, than just do it.Anyone who doesn't understand or care, has likely never lost a loved one as dear as a husband.I still have times when the tears just come and I can't even say why.I have come to where I don't try to stop them or analyze why,I just let them come and then I can move on. Be encouraged these these crying spells will come less frequently in the months to come.

Diane, it is definitely a stage of grieving my dear, and I am praying for you.
Sadly, it is something that we have to go through when our lives change so much. I hope that you start having more good days than bad days soon sweetie and please don't think we don't want to hear about it, because we all want you to let us know how you are feeling. Sometimes it's hard for one to know what to say that will make your day a little brighter, but we can sure try!
Your little naked angel birdbath is making me COLD!!!

I LOVED the photo in your last post!!!!
sending warm hugs your way...

Don't worry my friend, it will come back. It just takes time. Don't push yourself. You will know when it is time to create those quilts. :) Love ya, Kit
