I received an unexpected gift in the mail yesterday, a book entitled Find the Good: Unexpected Life Lessons from a Small Town Obituary Writer by Heather Lende. It came at just the right time (these things happen this way, don't they). Thank you so much, Ellen.
It came at the right time because Leonard fell in the kitchen on Thursday and broke his arm. He's now in ICU because of his very fragile health. Fragile health but very strong spirit and will. It's been a rough couple days but the words FIND THE GOOD stayed in the forefront of my mind, that and knowing that it's all in God's hands anyway.
Blessings, Diane

Dear Diane, So very sorry to hear about Leonard's fall. That's never good as one gets more fragile. I do hope he will heal as quick as possible. Sending healing wishes and big hugs for you, Tammy
Never know what you need when you are going to need it! xoxo bean
I have one of Heather Lende's other books called "Take Care of the Garden and the Dogs". She is a fabulous writer, and the fact that she writes about her true life, and the lives of those in her little Alaskan community, makes it hard to put the book down. I know you will find much inspiration from the gift your friend sent you. Praying for Leonard as he recovers from the fall. I'm so sorry to hear that happened.
