Leonard's sister was here to visit last week . She took this picture of him and I. His heavy clothing hides the fact that he looks like a skeleton. Each day is something different- some days he seems strong, other days he isn't. Needless to say he's very negative about everything - there's nothing I can do to make him laugh or even smile. Each day I try to get out of the house for a bit to center myself and enjoy the peace and calm.
It was nice to see Lois and have her add her joy to our home. I treasure these things more and more. And most of all I rely on God to teach me and lead me along this path. Diane

Diane, words fail, but I can send hugs your way. It's tough going through a time like this.
What a bitter-sweet time for you, Diane. A prayer, the thought of a hug sent your way. I so sorry.
I have you and Len in my prayers Diane, sickness can be such a robber of joy. God bless you my friend.
A very difficult time for you, my friend. I am relieved to read that you are trying to make time to get centered and find strength. It is a "must", for sure! God bless you....you know I'm thinking of you! xo
It is good to find time for yourself. I am thinking of you every day. Hugs, Kit
I am thinking of you and you are in my prayers dear friend. I am glad to read that you are able to get out and have just a little time for yourself. That is vital, when one is a caregiver. 'What a sweet photo Lois took of you!
much love....
