May 13th. Mother's birthday, and on her last birthday it was Mother's Day, too. A double celebration. My brother, Mike and sister, Patsy as well as I were able to celebrate the day with her and she was the belle of the ball. She was so happy to have her children with her, and food, and flowers. We even had a special room at the nursing home to have her party! I'm so content to have this lovely memory of her last big day.

Sweet memories are such a comfort. It's lovely that you were able to celebrate with you mother. I imagine she must have been very proud to have had her three children come to the home toake the day extra-special.
