Truly it eases the heart..........

Always the first to bloom, the little Viola is up before anybody else.  They're such brave little flowers, sometimes I think they're blooming under the snow.  No wonder their old name is Hearts Ease.  What a joy it is to see them in the spring and know that we've survived another frigid winter. We've been blessed with some beautiful, sunny, sweatshirt weather in the last couple days but everyone knows that the storms will be back.  It makes the beautiful days even more precious.

Well, I hope the little viola will be left in the sunshine for a little longer. Those spring snowfalls always seem so unfair.

What sweet little violas! It is wonderful that there are some brave little flower souls that peek out of the dirt long before others do...to announce the hope of spring on its way! I had no idea Hearts Ease was their old name. I learned something today! Happy Friday!

Truly amazing how such little plants can return year after year despite harsh conditions. We can learn a lot from them. Best wishes, Tammy
