Come what may................................

There's always something beautiful, something sweet, someone kind no matter how bleak things are or how dark it seems.

This time of the year I tend to really start searching for small ray of sunshine.  Maybe its the lack of sunlight, or the endless snow and/or slop but it gets really tiresome!  Everyone seems to feel it so they hunker down with their phones and hide from people or don't want to bother to smile and say hello.  I feel particularly isolated and depressed this winter mostly because the pain in my foot makes it hard to even get outside and take Rascal for a walk - and that kills me.  That's the joy of my day.

So I have to go back to my first sentence and remember this.  Today I had an errand so I grabbed my camera and Rascal we drove a back road to get some pictures.  That felt good.  The mountains were breathtaking.  My shots didn't turn out but I'm going to post them on here anyway.  You'll get the idea of how beutiful they were.

Yes, I agree that as winter drags along we kinda drag along too. It looks like you captured the beautiful mountains, God's workmanship. We, too, are God's workmanship and we, too will brighten up as spring comes. Hang in there. Love, Patsy

Just making ourselves get out and search for beauty can have an uplifting effect on our mood. So glad you did just that. Hugs and blessings, Tammy

I'm so sorry to hear that you are having trouble with your foot and that it's keeping you from the activities you love. I looked at your beautiful shot of the mountains and thought that your worst shot is my best shot!!

Just making that effort to get out and see the beauty in the moment is important. Isn't it? Xo
