Not one of my better ideas......................

Recently when I was shopping I ran across this wonderful BRIGHT RED frosting.  Little sprinkles of Christmas balls in red, pink, greens and white were enclosed in the top.   How could I resist?  It just plain looked fun.  I raved about it to Cathy and when they came down last Sunday she brought a lovely little white (from scratch) cake and she put the frosting and sprinkles on.  It was beautiful and so Christmassy.   Her cake was great but the frosting was so sweet!  I don't know if anyone finished theirs. 

We cleaned up and it looked like someone had been murdered in the kitchen.  Although it was three grownups and one little girl, there was red spattered everywhere - on the faucets, in the sink, on the kitchen counter.  Not one of my better ideas but at least we had fun laughing about it.  I guess it served it's purpose - it was fun. Cathy said "Next time we'll just do white frosting with sprinkles.  It would be so pretty and Christmassy!
