We will make it.................

Cathy, always my little girl,  has been diagnosed again with breast cancer after three years of being cancer free.  We waited 10 days to hear anything and then the news was not good.  After crying my eyes out and being a blubbering mess I got a hold of myself and decided that wasn't the way to help her.  She's being brave and really likes her team so that's very good.  She has a great support system and so many people who care for her that it touches my heart .She will have a mastectomy this coming Tuesday. Love you, hon.

Prayers going out to your daughter Cathy and your family. Wishing Cathy a very speedy recovery from her surgery next week. A great supportive team is very important which it sounds like she has along with her family.
Hugs to all of you! xx

I am so sorry Diane. While I really don't have words for times like this I just hope can feel my warm hug and know that you all are in my prayers. Sometimes just knowing you have a friend who deeply cares about you and Cathy is a comfort. I'm so sorry that Cathy has to go through this again and that has got to weigh heavy on you. I don't think we moms ever get over wanting to take all their pain and sorrows away. I just wish I could head you way right now and deliver the hug myself!

I pray that this will turn out well. I know that a mother's heart hurts when her child hurts.

Dear Diane I heard this news this morning and popped on to wish you and Cathy a quick healing and good result. How very hard it is to be the one who watches a love one go through a terrible event. I am glad to hear you are going to hold yourself together for her. Know that you can let yourself go with your friends here on your blog. We will be here to support you. What difficult work you have ahead. Love to you and you will be in my thoughts.
