All I want is one bright spot each day.............

(This photo of Cathy and her husband was taken last summer)

And yesterday definitely was one.
I finally got to Billings to see Cathy and spend some time with
her after her mastectomy last week.  She's recovering but there's a long way to go - I'm amazed at her attitude.
To hug my daughter after what she has been through
was worth a million dollars.
.
And today I got to meet Robert Taylor.
You have to be as old as I am to remember this handsome actor.  In fact he had a ranch in our area and more than once I got to speak to him, he was very nice.
Yes, I got to meet him today.  Well, so to speak.  I was at the post office and a lady was walking by with a darling little Pomeranian strutting ahead of her with a happy little smile.  I couldn't resist and asked her about him and what his name was.  She replied "Mostly I call him Robbie but his real name is  Robert Taylor".   It just tickled me.  I've chuckled whenever I thought about it today.

I'm glad you got to spend time with your daughter. Internet and phone calls are nice, but that personal touch and hug are the best.

So glad she is doing good. I remember when my daughter had jaw surgery, all I wanted to do was hold her. Hang in there Mom. :) Kit
