October.................

There is something in October sets the gypsy blood astir, We must rise and follow her; When from every hill of flame, She calls and calls each vagabond by name - William Bliss Carman

I must be a gypsy because October makes me think of scarlet, and garnet and deep purple.  Of nights too early with shadows and noises that didn't seem to be there before.  I like October.

I like October too and we have had an absolutely BEAUTIFUL fall and it is still going on. So many doggie walks and working to close down the yard and garden and all the summer things. I get sick of my yard and garden about this time of year and look forward to moving on with the seasons and look forward to winter's short days that offer opportunities to sew, read, and hibernate! Happy October my friend.

I liked the way you put that. I love the moody skies. And the crinkley leaves. Kit
