Early Riser or Night Owl?

Early this morning I found this honeybee still sleeping in the alyssum.  I think she was just too tired to go home last night.  She's found a lovely place to rest though.

In these early September days that's the best thing to do.  It's still in the 90s - 95 degrees today. Just exerting yourself wears you out.  I'm really looking forward to just a little bit cooler weather.

You certainly are alert to spot these little things. We are back to heat as well and I really would prefer cooler temps.

Wow Diane...your temps are still so high! We were in the 70's today but we had a rainstorm for the record books tonight. We really need it and it was such a blessing.
Such a great capture of the tired little bee.

Great picture! Ending the summer is sometimes a little sad but I do love the seasons and fall is my favorite.

I can't imagine that sort of heat, Diane! You will be glad to welcome real Autumn weather!

Hello Diane- I'm an early riser, the minute I awake, I'm ready to go! I love the early mornings but by quite early in the evening, I'm ready for my comfy bed. Jane xx

Hi Diane, I am settled back in at home but haven't accomplished much. Jumped right back into work and that means I haven't had the energy for doing anything. Way too humid to walk. Did a little crocheting yesterday. Last weekend made the flower pens. I plan to tackle some cleaning today and then maybe some crafting. Have been trying to catch up on blogging since I was away for so long. Have a great weekend. Tammy
