summertime...............

Even though I don't get as much done each day as I want to, the yard and flowers flourish .

This has been a lovely summer.  Nights are starting to be cooler now and the mornings are chilly - I love it.  We didn't have many hot, hot days and all summer long we have had rain on the horizon and now and then we have hail warnings but all but one didn't materialize.  So far it's just been nice.    Diane

It has gotten hot again here in SoCal so I cannot go outside to do anything.

Beautiful picture. I am saddened to realize that I have to give up a few of my flower beds.Just don't have enough time or energy to keep up with them.

Your hollyhocks are gigantic Diane!!!
Things are flourishing in your garden. SO pretty!
We have had record heat here and our area is on fire. I really hope we get some rain soon.

Weather was so lovely in Colorado with crisp cool mornings and temps around 80 during the day. Of course, when winter rolls around, Yusef is going to be shivering!

"Alamosa's geography and nighttime temperatures account for it being listed as the coldest city in the Contiguous United States, with a record average of 227 days per year with a minimum temperature of 32 °F (0 °C) or less."

He's gone from extreme heat to extreme cold. Will be a shock for sure. He'll have to learn how to dress in warm layers. Sending hugs your way, Tammy
