What is so rare.............

...as a day in June?  Please excuse the hose and the weeds. This is one of the side yards  I still haven't got all the way around the house with my cleaning up.  .   I  thought it looked so fresh and green here.  The whiskey barrel in the foreground is one Leonard planted.
This is a row of lilacs that I planted from starts.  They're almost through blooming but they were spectacular this year.                                   Diane

So beautiful Diane, I love the country woodsy look of your lilac garden, the stones and angel make such a peaceful setting.

Hi Diane: One of the things I most love about living in Alaska is NOT to have to plant and maintain grass. I used to hate that job in my former life LOL!!! However, seeing the beautiful green in your picture gave me a little twinge of regret that I do miss having a lush green lawn--it is probably just the maintaining it I hated. Yours is beautiful.

Hello Diane, sorry not to have visited for a little while. I love your garden photos- even the corners look loved and tended in comparison to my overgrown wilderness! Jane xx

So pretty! The lilacs were amazing this year and with all the rain, our town is so green. :) Kit
