April is here...........

We have a stubborn snowdrift which has compacted into ice, it's the last thing to melt away.  Today I enjoyed watching a small flock of Redpolls chipping away to get a cool drink.  They were so pretty with their red heads.

What a month March was.  After just losing my Mother, we both got pneumonia, , then two trips to Billings, the last one for surgery for Leonard for melanoma on his ear (good results, though, no signs of any cancer in the lymph nodes), then I fell and cracked my wrist and still can't do most of the things I want to.  I'm not complaining though, I'm just so glad to be in April.  I know it's going to be a wonderful month.                  Diane

Oh Diane, I hope April is kinder to you guys! So sorry about your fall. I hope you heal up fast. That is good new about Leonard's melanoma. I hope they were able to remove it all.
My last drift just melted away a few days ago. This is the earliest the snow has melted here in my part of Idaho.
sending hugs...

Oh Diane. I'm sorry to hear you broke your wrist. Yikes! Glad to hear all is well with Leonard. The birds are very sweet. Surely a sign that Spring is very near. Hugs and blessings, Tammy P.S. Lovely new header, too. :)

Mercies me Diane! When it rains, it pours! Here's hoping April is shaping up to be much less eventful for you and yours! XO
