Inspiring words..............

This is part of a letter to the editor in the winter 2010 issue of Where Women Create magazine from Katheryn Tidwell Bieber.

I loved it so much that I copied it and put where I could be reminded.

...........I know for a fact that along life's path not everyone will treat us or talk to us like a loving, nurturing friend might.  Some people will even criticize us and attempt to hedge up our way, but kind words and loving self messages are gifts we can give ourselves.  It is what lifts us up from allowing ourselves to be a doormat to becoming Goddesses!  As we recognize our worth and power everyone else seems to wake up to it as well.  I learned long ago that the only one who would ever treat me like a Goddess all the time (besides God) 24/7 no matter what - fat, thin, rich, poor, green, purple, or blue - is me and it took me a very long time to figure that one out.

How does one treat herself like a Goddess? First we need to simply talk kindly to ourselves...............

          Have a peaceful night.               Diane

I agree totally Diane, words are powerful, even when spoken to ourselves. In fact more powerful. A great post to remind all of us beautiful women that we are worth love, and worth loving ourselves. Thank-you for the reminder, Diane.

That's something for me to print out and keep too. It took me a very long time to figure this out, and I still need a reminder every now and again.
