First snowfall of the year............

Always expected, always a surprise.  Even though I wanted moisture, I didn't want the cold........yet.
I'm sure the grass, trees, and plants are grateful for the drink of water, so rare in the past 4 months.  The winter coats came out, almost odd when less then a week ago it was 88 degrees here.

Hope you're having a good weekend doing what you love.  Diane

Isn't it magical that our whole world can be turned into an enchanted crystal forest?! Lovely.

Thank you for the Thanksgiving wishes! You are so sweet to remember that we celebrate this weekend. It's so hard to believe my eyes when I see the pictures of your snow. Up here it is still warm and dry - it was over 70 here today and we spent the afternoon outside on a friend's terrace and even ate supper outside. Strange weather!

Oh it's so pretty Diane! I'm looking forward to our first snow, this helped! Your little cottage looks so cute tucked in between the trees.
