about improvements to another street.
The city is methodically
going through each one, replacing old water and
sewer lines and cutting down the trees
on the boulevards!
I've seen what they've done to the other streets.
They end up looking like the face
of the moon instead of friendly
old neighborhoods and I would miss
the trees terribly.
Our street is in bad shape, I know there are
a lot of neighbors who would
probably rather have the improvements. I don't.
I hope they never get around to
"improving" our street!!

That street is beautiful,very much like many in my city.They must be able to do the repairs without taking down all those trees. as they say,where there's a will there's a way.

I saw on the news how many were upset in CA about all the trees cut down to make way for Endeavor to go from the airport to its final resting place. Trees take so long to grow. I hope your street will remain beautiful. Tammy
Improvements can be overrated for sure. I love your big old trees and quaint street. I hope they don't "improve" it either. xobean
