A Day With My Daughter

A trip to Billings yesterday to spend the day with my daughter.  We had a great day, shopping, eating, talking and laughing.  Here she is with her grandson (my great grand).
I wish I could have captured how beautiful it was coming home driving past Lodgegrass, Montana.  Trees of  every possible color lined the river and on up the valley.  There was much smoke from forest fires in the air as it is everywhere.  The smoke makes the sun look bright red.
And I had to try to capture the breathtaking sunset.   The trip to Billing is 130 miles but it was worth it having such a wonderful day with Cathy.                      Diane

What a precious picture of Cathy and her grandson. And the sunset through the side view mirror is spectacular~ sounds like an awesome time Diane.

What a treat it must be to see your daughter with her grandchild. I'm sorry to read about the fires - always such a worry at this dry time of year.
