Summertime's the Time for Flowers

Don't we just love summertime because of the beautiful flowers?  As I was deadheading this petunia I found someone sleeping in.  I don't  know what kind of moth this is but isn't it pretty?
And then there are roses - they just melt your heart.  Even with the heat the roses seem to be doing well.
The elegance of a simple red geranium.                      How are your flowers doing this summer?

THanks for sharing your flowers. I only have one small rose bush and it is doing better than I had expected. That moth os quite pretty.

Your flowers are doing so well! Mine are just starting to really shine, as we have had a terrible heat wave and drought. I've had to water every day, thank God for rain the last couple days, they are finally picking up!

You have the most beautiful garden Diane with a wonderful variety of flowers. I love your garden/flower posts.

Even my succulents have gone flat from moisture loss. Hopefully they will perk back up with a few days of watering. I think I will give both balconies a really good clean and try to get rid of all the dust (until the next storm rolls in). From the angle of your picture, that moth sure looks mighty big. My poor geraniums succumbed to the heat a while back. Just too hot for such pretty blooms. Best wishes, Tammy
