Sky Watch

Tonight we're supposed to be able to see the aurora borealis because of the violent solar flares.  I'm hoping.  It's possible to see them here sometimes but I never have.  Maybe tonight!  Hope that you might be able to see them, too.                Diane

That is awesome. I love the cloud shapes and the colours. Hope you get to see those specula lights tonight.

I haven't seen them since we lived in Alberta - but they were glorious!

I've noticed in the past week we've had interference with our satellites at sundown. Some of our stations go out and don't come back on for awhile. Don't think we can see the aurora borealis over here. In fact, now that a huge honking house is going up across the street, I can't even see the sunset anymore. :/ Have a great day! Tammy

We were supposed to have a beautiful sunrise, but it was too cloudy to see. I love your picture, I remember one like this from your blog last year, this may be it. The colors are so magnificent aren't they!?

We weren't able to see them here Diane. We had a much needed rainstorm and too much smoke in the air. Did you get to see it?

That's sky is pretty amazing. All the auroras that I have seen don't compare to that picture:)
