Being Happy

The quote escapes me but it went something like -  you can chase happiness and it will elude you but if you stand still it will land on your shoulder. Or something like that.

I was thinking about how many times happiness will settle all around me when I'm walking Rascal.  Just a peaceful little companion who seems to share the same feeling walking along with me.  There doesn't seem to be a special reason except that it's quiet, the traffic noises fade away, nothing to do except to let the quiet and calm fall around us. Simple and yet exquisite.   Diane

Love the Hollyhock. I don't think mine will bloom this year.

I know just what you mean Diane. Only you say it so much better than I could.

I know just what you're talking about Diane, connecting with nature is the perfect way to start out the day. And you're right, it just seems the man made noise just fades away. Love the hollyhock!

Happiness is like a butterfly: the more you chase it, the more it will elude you, but if you turn your attention to other things, it will come and sit softly on your shoulder… (Thoreau)

One of my favorites! Wishing you a fabulous Friday! Tammy
