Ana's Garden

This is such a peaceful and serene spot in
my neighbor, Ana's yard.  It's the little sideyard
right around the corner from our driveway so
all I need to do is peek around there or catch
her there and enjoy it.
She has a St. Therese statue as well as
St. Francis tucked in among
the roses.
She told me the story of St. Therese and
it's quite lovely and touching and
because this saint was a lover
of flowers, roses in particular, it fits in so sweetly.
I'm really glad I have a neighbor like Ana.

A good neighbour, and none who shares her garden and stories of saints too- well, you are blessed, Diane!

St. Therese has always been my favorite saint, alongside St. Francis of Assisi. I've been working on my gardens more this year, and find solitude there. Beautiful post, Diane.
