"Do You Have Your Camera?"

My friend asked me today when I went to see her.
She led me across a field to a secret place and there..........
......a pheasant nest!!  Deep down in the well made nest was about 20 beautiful eggs.  It took my breath away.
A little further and she pointed out some daffodils which had many years ago been planted tenderly by someone long gone.

That's why I like this girl, she loves the wild things, too.                    Diane

What a treasure to find! I do hope you will be able to get pictures of the babies once the eggs have hatched.I love the Daffodils in the grass as well.

Finding a nest full of eggs always feels like a miracle to me. I remember the joy and excitment as a child finding blackbird's nests in the hedge in our garden. Jane xx

Those are beautiful! I have lived all of my life around pheasants but have never seen a nest with eggs.
Great photos!
Have a great week, Diane!

Oh wow! Those eggs are amazing. I hope nothing else finds them and that they are safe where they are. Happy day to you. Tammy
