Eyes On the Sky

Several times today around 4:00 and after I ran outside trying to catch a glimpse of Venus
with no luck.  Couldn't even see the moon.  Then when I went out around 7:00 p.m. I could see the moon throughthe clouds, even though I nearly fell down looking up
and I'm sure the neighbors wondered about me (nothing unusual there).
Finally I did see it when it was almost sundown.
I tried to capture it with the camera but got only a pretty good
shot of the moon.
Rascal is the only one I have to share it with and I doubt that even he gets
excited about Venus.  Oh, well, I can share it with you, too.
Diane

We've got clouds here all day too, so no Venus for me either. But, at least you got that GREAT pic of the moon. Good catch!

I stood outside last night, as it was clear here, and was in awe of the stars and planets that could be seen. Hope the sky is clear for you tonight Diane. I love your picture!
