My Daughter Amanda

Every week Amanda volunteers at an animal shelter in Alaska.  Every week she puts her heart right out there to get broken again and again.  A friend of hers took this photo yesterday -  they're hoping to find a home for this little girl before it's too late.  I tell her I could not do what she does, she tells me that if she can give the creatures some love and special attention she's doing something.  She leaves me with such a lump in my throat because she has so much love to give them .   Diane

What a brave and good woman, she is like my friend and neighbour who is always rescuing animals and have a garden and house full of the poor un-wanted ones! Jane x

She has a kind and loving heart just like her mother. That is a little sweetie she is holding. It would be so hard for me to volunteer there. I already get my heart broken over and over as I feed and try to provide a bit of TLC to our feral street cats. God bless you and yours, Tammy

Bless Amanda's heart! It would be a tough place to work I'm sure. But I know that her love does make a difference to those sweet animals.
I am so happy to read that Rascal was fine. Those burrs can cause a ruckus when they get where they shouldn't.
Diane I was so happy to read that Cathy has finished her treatments. I am happy that you have this behind you too.
Thank you for being such a dear friend all this time. It has been such a gift to know you.
hugs from here...
