Black and White

Wearing my black hooded coat today as I walked Rascal I felt that his blondness was the only patch of color in the world.  Everything, it seems, was black or dark brown and white.
Then as I rounded the corner I saw that the neighbors were flying their flag on their new flagpole.  Old Glory stood out beautifully against the dark trees.  Diane

So pretty! We finally got a "real" snow last night and I am loving it. The colors in my backyard pop now (shed, totem pole, wreaths)and I hope it lasts for awhile. Kit

I loved your blacks and white but the flag at the end did look wonderful!

There is still a certain beauty in the black and white of winter.

I'll take the snow Diane, right now I'm so tired of rain and mud, if there's going to be precipitation, let it be white!! The flag is pretty against the trees.

It's truly winter down your way! No snow here yet, but the sky is low with clouds and the temperature is sinking.

The flag does look brilliant against the winter backdrop. Happy day to you! Tammy
