Summer's Gone

Killing frosts, layering coats when I walk Rascal, cold nose.  Time to put summer away, what's left of pots, hoses, furniture.  Now the leaves are beginning to take over and if we're lucky we can get them raked up before the first snowfall.  It's over for this year - the bees, butterflies, roses, morning glories, sitting in our sanctuary - over until next year.

Gratitude - The changing seasons - each bringing it's own beauty and traditions

it's kind of bittersweet isn't it Diane. Each season holds it's special touches though, and I love the changes in each. Have a blessed week Diane.

I do find November 1st the most peaceful day in the year for that reason. It's my quiet and relaxing day. I love this picture..it feels cool and clear.

I know that winter has its beauty, but I love the warmer weather and am not much for winter sports. Out here in Ontario, it's cold!

Hi Diane, did you not get snow there like so many other places did? I heard on the news some could be without power for days. No one was prepared to be dumped on that much this early in the season. :/ Hope you are safe and warm inside. Best wishes, Tammy
