October

And so we reach October, the month of blue, blue skies and yellow leaves, smell of woodsmoke and spookiness of Halloween.

Wonder of wonders, my pansies have lasted all summer long through the long, hot summer.  And they still look as perky as last spring.

I'm joining Ruth this month.  The Canadian Thanksgiving falls in October and I will post a gratitude each day along with my regular post.  Please join us.

I hope you have all the best life has to offer in this new month.

Gratitude - Soft little dog butt on my lap as we go for an evening ride

Beautiful little faces on your pansies Diane. Mine lasted all Summer too...that never happens. What a weird year it has been in the garden.
I loved going through your last few posts that I have missed. And I loved what you said about your hair cuts! That is exactly how I feel about mine. Sometimes it's good. sometimes...not so much. Oh the woes of short hair. I always love yours!

I love pansies. They are such a romantic and fragile lady flower. Beautiful vase too!
Taking it all in and being grateful is the best way to be ALL year. Thanks for reminding me :) xobean
