A Late Autumn Nap

Mallards along the creek in their favorite place to sun and commune with each other.
Gratitude - Nature

I love the way nature can be so restorative and healing.  It doesn't have to be much, a walk along the creek, a ride in the country, even a walk in the park.  The smell of the air and the sounds and sights and just the removal of yourself from being in one place with a certain set of problems.  Being out among the trees, water, fresh air, and birdsong just gives a different perspective, it works every time.

An update - Catherine has seen almost all of the doctors and will soon find out when the surgery will be.  I'm thankful that she lives in a city like Billings, Montana which has one of the finest medical communities in the Rocky Mountain west.  Please continue, if you would, to keep her in your thoughts and prayers.   Blessings, Diane

I love the last two pictures. It's so pretty how the sun shines in autumn...just lights everything up without being so hot and glaring.
I wish I could be there with those ducks...what a nice spot to visit.

Even just looking at pictures of nature can lower blood pressure, so I know that nature is very, very good for us. I pray that your daughter will soon have a surgery date.

How I love nature, but don't get to commune with it as much as I would like. Sending prayers and blessings and great big hugs to you and Catherine. Best wishes, Tammy
