Gratutude - Opportunity

Ask, and it shall be given you;
seek and you will find,
knock and the door will be opened unto you.
Matthew 7:7 KJV

Maybe the word opportunity is just too boring.
Maybe we should call it bright (as in idea), or sparkle, or
Ta-da!  Maybe then it would be more exciting.
Aren't you grateful, though,  for opportunity?  It's there all the time - you can walk
across the room and say hello to someone - or not.
You can walk outside and enjoy the sunshine or you can decide
not to.  The choice and opportunity is yours.
Can you imagine how life would be if we didn't have opportunity all the time
to make choices? That we would just have to follow a straight line
and never vary, never do anything except what has been prescribed for you?
Today I'm grateful for opportunity.

Yes, yes, yes! Choices, opportunity. This is what I tell people when they begin to complain. We have choices whereas so many do not. When we open ourselves up, there are many new opportunities to come our way. It's like opening a window and letting fresh air in. have a bright and beautiful day! Tammy

That is a lovely idea, Diane. We should be thankful for opportunity and the freedom to choose for ourselves. Making mistakes is part of learning and it's certainly a blessing to learn.

Catherine is certainly on my mind a lot during the day. I wonder how she is doing and how you are doing. This has to be just unbelieveably difficult for you. Try not to worry. Keep your faith strong. She'll be alright.
