A Different View

I drive over the creek here at least once a day and every time I do the creek is so pretty from the bridge, it doesn't matter what time of day it is.  This is the first time I deliberately took my camera to get a shot.

Gratitude - I'm grateful for my neighborhood.  We live kind of on the edge of town and the creek meanders around through our neighborhood.  The creek attracts all kinds of wildlife and so far has been kept natural.    In the spring when the water's high it's kind of a worry but the rest of the year it's just such a blessing.  My neighborhood is quiet and out of the way although we're only one block away from a main artery.  When I turn off of that street back into where we live I can just feel the noise fall away.                    Diane

What a lovely place to have as part of your daily coming and going. It's a blessing to feel that peace about which you speak on coming home.

Good neighborhoods do matter. We live in a quiet neighborhood also --and for that, I'm grateful...

That creek is just awesome. You are so fortunate to have it near you.
Hugs,
Betsy

What a lovely place! You are so right about a good community. We had a tea party yesterday and so many local friends turned up I felt very lucky. Jane x
