She LIKES Red!!

Molly Brown would have loved these.  Remember that line from The Unsinkable Molly Brown.  My favorite movie of all time.  Last year I thought I had State Fair zinnias and something else came up, they were pretty but they weren't the big, fat State Fair that are so showy.  I was glad it was right this year.  The zinnias are so pretty.
And this flamboyant geraniums have just bloomed their hearts out all summer long in spite of the heat.

Thanks to all of you for your lovely comments.                   Blessings, Diane

Hi Diane, hope you are well. Sure wish my geraniums could have survived the summer heat here. Sadly, the dust just clings to the leaves and completely suffocates them no matter what I do. I think I will try keeping them indoors and see how that works. It's not the season for them right now but soon I will start to plant on the balcony again.

I love the dog honking the car horn while his owner was in the store. Ha! That would be a hoot to witness!

I was named after the Debbie Reynolds show Tammy and the Bachelor. Funny thing is that my dad was supposed to marry someone else before he met my mom and he said that if they had a girl, they wanted to name her Tammy Lynn. Turns out, I am Tammy Sue -- my mom is Linda Sue and my dad's sister was Betty Sue. :)

Hope you are having a good weekend. Best wishes, Tammy
