Remembering this awful day.

We need to remember.  When we forget, when we go through security lines, when we look at the flag, when we get lost in everyday matters.  We need to remember Todd Beamer and the others who died to keep the hijackers from flying the plane into the Capitol.  We need to remember the four airplanes which were lost, we need to remember how we were before it happened.  We need to remember the Statue of Liberty as we saw it that day through the smoke of the destruction of the Twin Towers.  We need to remember watching in horror as we stood unable to take in the events unfolding before our eyes.  We need to remember so this will never happen again .  We need to find peace but we need to remember.                 Diane

I remember. This is a nice post, well expressed, reminding us of all of it. I don't think those of us our age will ever forget it. How could we???
Our church president wrote an editorial that was published in the Washington Post about this. He reminded us to always remember our Heavenly Father, that He is who we all turned to for help at that time. We should maintain that faith and unity with each other.
