Oh, Honey!!!

A bee demonstration was advertised at the Farmer's Market this evening and I just couldn't pass that up.  I didn't know exactly what it would be but I had to see.  He had a couple large frames of honeycombs,
I'm not sure what this is properly called but it's bees in a glass frame, they were busily working.
He's explaining something to a lady while he rests his hand on a block of bees wax.

Leonard was out that way recently and picked up a couple jars of honey from this man.  It was out of this world.  I have found (as a honey lover) that honey tastes completely different in different areas.  The honey from this area is very gentle with hints of clover and alfalfa.  Hope you have had a sweet day.  Diane

We have to kill our honey bees (in colder climates) at the end of summer. It is brutal. I hate it. xobean
