Today

Each day has it's own flavor, doesn't it?  Today it was 96 degrees.  When I walked Rascal in the afternoon we stayed in the shade and walked slow.  The weeds are yellow, the only noticeable sound is the flying grasshoppers as they make their clicking sounds as they fly out of my path.  Inside, ice water, coolness.  I can almost hear my grass, flowers and trees laughing when I turn the sprayer on after 4:00 p.m.    Blessings, Diane

Great picture showing the sprayer... It was hot here today--so I probably would have been outside playing in that water!!!!! ha

Yes---everyday has its own flavor. Yesterday it was cool and felt wonderful. Today, someone turned on the heat!!!!! Dang! ha
Hugs,
Betsy

Oh my goodness - your summer this year is SO different from ours! We've had no heat at all. Today was no warmer than 73 and it felt so hot that I put the top down on the car. Not a summer at all.

The picture looks so cool and inviting. This morning it is pleasant out...something we've not had in so long. We are still in triple digits...almost everyday since July 2,and quite a few in June. I'm hoping to get some yard work done when and if it ever cools off.

I would have loved the flavor of your day. Wearing jackets and turning up the heat in our house now. :(

Love, bean

You certainly posted a choice photo to go with your thoughts here. It looks like the perfect place to go to so you can escape the heat.
