Orange and A Blogger

I don't know about you but I'm not too crazy about orange.  But these petunias - I forgot the name - are just so pretty.  Everything has had such a hard time growing in this heat.  However, after reading Tammy's blog, I'm trying not to complain about the heat.  She lives in Kuwait where they've been having 122 degree temps and she has very little lovely vegetation to look at.  And yet she remains cheerful and a wonderful example of optimism.  So I'm going to appreciate what I do have, orange, or even yellow flowers.       Diane

It takes reality checks sometimes to realize that someone else has it hard or harder. It's in our attitude that we find that balance between gratitude and reconciliation with our circumstances. Beautiful Diane.

It is good to be reminded of our blessings. I cannot imagine living in those harsher climates.
Orange is one of my almost least favorite colors too, but in flowers, favorites colors just don't hold up. You like yellow even less??

My family has been without a home for 6 months. Now that we have one coming into focus in about a week or two, the first thing I'm concerned with is my yard and getting flowers in it.

Thanks for the mention Diane! Like Laurie said, it is all in our attitude. While some choose to see the glass half full, I like to believe that it is full to the brim with blessings. After travelling through India and Nepal, seeing how others live and thrive under such harsh conditions, I realize that I have an easy life, no matter what's around me. I have absolutely no reason to moan, groan, complain or grumble, so I choose to see the positive in everything. Have a fabulous Friday and a wonderful weekend. Tammy
