Whew!!!

We can finally relax about flooding.  The creek has dropped to it's normal sleepy pace - we made it through the flooding season without any problems right here!  Thanks to good management the reservoirs and lakes above us were monitored well and the melt off from the extremely heavy snow pack was controlled.
This is the tree that I use for my "measuring stick".  When the water was high it came 1/2 way up the picture.

Now everybody is wishing it would rain!                         Diane

Glad it's over, Diane. I know that the rising creek is kinda scary --when it continues to rise. Glad you had no trouble this year. Hope you don't in future years either....

Hugs,
Betsy

There's always concern, isn't there, until the snow pack melts. We never know just how much there is up there!

Ha! Isn't that always the way it is. When it's cold, everyone wishes for a bit of heat. When the temps become unbearable, folks are praying for rain and cooler weather. Glad to hear that the creek is back to normal in your neck of the woods. Take care and have a great week. Tammy

It's a relief to hear that things are back to normal. I think it's all okay here too, although there is a new thing on T V about Utah being almost the driest state in the nation. It rained tonight and it feels sooo muggy. There's no refreshment to it at all.
