Even Better Than A Bargain!

I've had a few things in the back of my head that I really would like to find in my thrift shopping and garage sales.  One was some old ribbon.  Being Crazy Daze here a lot of the businesses have wares out in front of their stores and I decided to stop at the Fibre House.  I've never been there before.  I was rewarded with a bag full of wonderful things - multicolored yarn, a pretty candle with it's own matches, some fancy coffee (under the lid is a coaster and magnet!) and eight packages of silk!!! ribbon (it's new but I can age it) all for 75% off.  $21.31!  Bargain?? And they threw in a package of feather trim for free.  All of these things (except the coffee and candle) I plan to use in my art.   Hope you're having a good weekend.  Diane

Goodness gravy it is probably a good thing I don't have money right now. Mark would kill me if I came home with any more yarn from the Fiber House. Just so you know I am coming over tomorrow to see what you got :)

You got some great stuff Diane! Lots of folks are using that Noro yarn now and talking about how lovely it is to work with. Not sure we can find it here. No doubt you will create some wonderful things. Have a great day. Tammy

What a find!
Now, I know that the coffee and candle won't be featured, but I'm sure they'll be inspirational.
