Well Loved

I ran across this picture of a cap of Leonard's.
That's the name of our son-in-law's business and the cap was a gift from
them.  He just wore it to death and even then he didn't want to stop wearing it.  I
may be a meanie but I said "no". I bought him another one to take it's place but I
wouldn't be surprised if it was still out in his shop somewhere.

I think that most every man has an old beat-up hat like that. It's always their favorite one... George has lots of billed hats--and he switches them out frequently --so that none get too tattered.

Great post.
Hugs,
Betsy

I guess to a man,an old hat is like an old pair of shoes, worn out,but still comfortable.

Hi Diane,
This is sweet. Don't you love finding those things that remind you of so many happy times. They are our treasures.

I am the same way. My favorite hat has a big hole in the top of it, so I guess I'll be looking for a new one this year.
:)
Have a happy one, Diane!
Hugs,
Zuzu

Hello Diane! I hope that you are keeping well. Sometimes, the grittiest and oldest of clothes are the hardest to part with!

Thanks, Diane.
My sweetie just hates to throw anything away...especially his tee-shirts!
About feeding the deer...lots of people are against that, but they are in a drought and they couldn't stand to see them so hungry and thirsty. I love seeing them up close like that. They've got beautiful birds too. I wish I could have gotten pictures of the Painted Bunting.
