A Storm

Rumblings and churning skies, a few drops of rain......................

Crashing thunder and pouring rain....................

Birds singing, fresh smelling clean earth.

Those skies look heavy with rain.

Don't you love it? We had two wild nights of severe thunderstorms, but a lot of needed rain. It is all over now and the temps have dropped about 10 degrees...that's nice because they had been triple digits for a couple of weeks...way too early for that!!

It certainly looked ominous but must have passed quickly. Those are the best kinda storms. A gentle falling rain and the scent of fresh earth always brings back summer time memories for me. :) Happy day to you, Tammy

I'm glad it turned out alright. I was a bit afraid you got flooded or something. These are nice pictures. They make a refreshing blog.

You know, it stormed here an hour ago. We never get thunder - it had been years since we'd had any when we had a storm two weeks ago, and then today more thunder. It's got to be climate change!
