Newest Baby on the Block

While we were walking my friend spotted this little fawn which the little mother had hidden (in plain sight).  Such a precious little thing, it looks like it's made out of porcelain.  Immediately my heart begins to worry - what happens to it with the creek so near and so high?  What about dogs?  Kids?  The little mother is only a yearling herself.  I must put it in God's hands.                    Diane

That little one is so cute.I am sure the mother will take good care of it.

Diane you're so much like me when it comes to animals! Putting it in God's hands is a must, but isn't it hard sometimes trying not to worry!? I'm sure she'll be fine, with Momma watching from a safe distance.

You are blessed to see such things. Deer are the most beautiful of all. I think God will watch over it if you ask Him to.

There are a lot of fawns around here now, and dusk is such a dangerous time. Whenever I see a deer I slow or stop because there's sure to be a fawn or two following.
