A June Day

Another thunderstorm.  We sat in the sanctuary and listened to the rumblings and crashings and the pelleting of the raindrops on the metal roof.  It's lovely to sit outside and yet feel cozy and smell the rain and feel the heat of the day turn into coolness.  I think of some of you who don't have this and wish I could just bottle some up and send it to you.  It turned beastly hot too early and it causes the thunderstorms (at least I think that's how it works.).

Leonard installed a ceiling fan in my art room.  It makes all the
difference in the world - it moves the air around.
It's wonderful.
I hope you had a good day and found some things
to be grateful for.  Diane

Ahhhh, I woke up this morning to the delicious coolness of our air conditioner working. Sounds silly but it felt so good. Glad you got that fan...I know you'll love it. And rain is nice but the older I get, the more thunder and lightening scares me, because I can't run so fast anymore I guess. ^.^)

This soft green is just fabulous...very pretty and calming.

Wish you could bottle a bit of rain for us. We will be off on a 10-day trip to Nepal on Wednesday and it is the rainy season there so we will get to enjoy cooler temps and lots of outdoor activities.
A ceiling fan sure can make a big difference in a room. Glad Leonard put one in for you. Happy creating! Tammy

We also have had way too much heat too early, and are getting daily afternoon storms. I hate the thunder and lightning, but like you, love the cooler temps that follow and the free water for the garden!
