Confections

Pretty soon this bush is just going to be exploding with roses.  This, however, is the very first bud.  This one is the vanguard, the scout, the one that puts his nose out and says "It's O.K. everybody, come on."

Look at this scrumptious Easter basket.  Yes, I said Easter.  I saw Cathy (my oldest daughter) this weekend and she gave me a basket which had been for Easter.  Isn't this just lovely, look at these darling little candies - strawberries and ice cream cones.  They're delicious, too.  Daughters just know what you like.
Another confection.  These peonies are just exquisite, I never get tired of looking at them or enjoying their divine aroma.                         Diane

What a sweet daughter!
I love your peonies. I planted four this year and can't wait to see them in bloom next year!

My peonies have come and gone and I did not get to pick a single bloom. We had a hard rain for two days and it beat them into the ground... Yours are beautiful and I love roses!

Ahhh, peonies are my favorites. they are just so......gorgeous. And the rosebud is lovely...I never thought of one being the scout for the others. The candies are also a special treat...so pretty. What a blessed mom you are. Your daughter proves that.
