Today

A Northern Flicker enjoying a cool drink.  So many creatures are drawn to the creek and it just seems to teem with life.

I visited my mother today.  She's now been in the care center for four years.  Now that the winter is over I can get over and see her more.  My brother and his son, my sister and her husband and I do what we can to try to brighten up her days.  I found some peonys at Safeway, I think I enjoyed them as much as she did.

I hope you have a great weekend.                   Diane

How pretty Diane, we get flickers here also, and they're so pretty.
You're Mom is lucky to have such caring "kids". And I'm sure the peonies really brightened her day. By the way, I LOVE your new header picture, it's beautiful!!

It is so awesome that you get shots like these. It takes me a minute to see the bird even in a photograph. How nice that you see him and capture it on film and then share with all of us out here. Thank you.
