Opportunist

One good thing about all this rain is that it's easy to pull weeds - when you can.  Whenever the sun comes out for a few minutes I'm outside cleaning the flower beds.

I heard that they opened I90 to traffic today.  People are driving through water, I guess that's O.K. if you just have to get there.  One thing that tickled me today I was listening to all the roads that are closed due to water or unsafe.  The announcer said that the Good Luck bridge was unsafe!?!?  I don't think I'd want to be on that bridge in good weather!

Hoping that you're safe, dry and not in a windy place.           Diane

I think I'd avoid that bridge too!
Up here we're fine. Getting a little tired of rain, but fine otherwise. Also feeling very, very lucky to be here and very very worried about the people in the path of the horrible weather.

We too are weeding ---but the weeds WIN!!!! ha

Glad some of the roads are opening back up --but I wouldn't take a chance driving through water UNLESS I HAD TO.

Good Luck Bridge, huh???? HA HA---not sure one would have any good luck on that bridge... ha

Hugs,
Betsy

Hi Diane, I love your post on finding balance as you voiced exactly what I've been feeling. When I post, I want to make sure I am not whining about anything, just sharing a bit of my life. I don't ever want to be ungrateful for what I have -- even the dust and heat. Hubby has been on a business trip and rather than fun, I've had nothing but petty little pesky problems each and every day -- mostly kid related. Teenagers! :/ I think about those who have lost everything and I look around and find that I have way too much and want to purge. There is something to be said for living a simple life. And we should all wear an attitude of gratitude each and every day. Hope the rain has stopped and better weather is in store for everyone. Best wishes, Tammy

Well, all that flooding is just too close now isn't it? We had a beautiful day today, with sunshine, lots of breezes and cooool temperatures. My boy from Arkansas is too cold all the time. I have to laugh...it's perfect to me.
I love your photo. I always wanted a spot like that. I wonder if I could fix something like that on my porch. Thank you for typing back to me. I am still worrying about you. Whoa, what can you do? Hang tight. Stay calm.

Oh, such a pretty photo of your birdbath, Diane!

We are still getting snow here, so how about sending us some of your rain and scattered sunshine?

:)

Wishing you a happy one,
