April

Rain has a way of making everything feel fresh and clean.  Don't you wish that's all it took to make everything new and good again?  It's good to see the rain, it's beating down the stubborn ice that wants to stay until July.  It's bringing up the flowers and bringing in the mud.  Today it felt like April, it was a nice feeling.  Diane

I just went past blog comments where someone said their daffodils were all gone now. Ours are just coming out. So I guess that's one good thing about where we live. Spring is just getting here and we have it to enjoy for a couple of months.

That is quite the photo. It reminds me of a silver platter.

When I woke up to 3 inches of snow yesterday to late afternoon of sun and it was all gone....wonderful I agree I love rain in April it seems to wash all the dirt off that winter leaves behind!

It's been snowing here . . . I guess it's like April here too :(

Your photo is really pretty, the reflection and the raindrops it kind of looks like a black and white.

Hi Diane, we had lightning and loud booms of thunder early this morning but just a quick burst of rain and then it was over. The thunder lasted much longer than the rain. Still a dusty kinda day. :/ Hope you are having a good done. Tammy

I love it when it rains in April ---and then we have gorgeous flowers in May, Diane... I have complained a little about the rain on our latest trips ---but I really am happy... I remember a drought of a few years ago--and that was NOT fun to watch and experience.... Bring on the rain.
Hugs,
Betsy

We had a thunderstorm a couple nights ago. The next morning I went outside and breathed deep, the fresh smell was intoxicating! Hopefully, spring is here to stay now!

I remember being so happy at the sound of rain in March and April when we lived in the east - it meant that the dirty piles of snow would diminish and that there would be more bare pavement!
