A Welcoming Place

Still ice in the yard, old winter grass, much to be done.  But the little cottage waits for a welcome respite, a quiet talk with friends, for the windows to be opened and for it to be a happy place all summer.  Sometimes I invite my husband to come in and sit for a while.   He had to go through "You need a clock in here" "no, I don't".  "you need a TV in here." "NO I don't."  "Maybe a radio."  "No I don't."  Now I think he appreciates the quiet peace too - sometimes.    Diane
Thanks so much for your comments and helpful ideas as to my dilemma on Blogger.  It's so nice to know that I can ask for help and everybody responds.  One of the reasons we love blogging.

I love your little cottage - it inspires me to have one of my own. I don't think it will happen this year, but I can dream.....

You and I could be sisters I think. I love the quiet and silence too in my little space. I am so peased to see that you have a place of respite right there in your own backyard. I can see you in there chatting with friends, or maybe just nodding off.hehe
We never out grow of our need for a playhouse do we?

Oh just look at how beautiful...it's just perfect. Who wouldn't want to be invited in? Sigh....

Sorry I didn't know how to help you with your Blogger dilemma. I am not good on this computer. Did you get it fixed?

Diane, What a sweet retreat you have there. I'm with you, no tv, no music. I just love to curl up and read with no distractions.
I often wonder what is up with Blogger. I was unable to comment on embedded comment forms for 2-3 months. Suddenly I can again. Huh?
Have a lovely week!
