Potpourri

Just stick your nose over here and take a deep breath.  Roses, pine, lavender, and my favorite,
reindeer moss.  If you blow the picture up you can see that I use quite a lot of it
in my potpourri.  I can't describe the smell but I love it.  It's the stuff that's kind of silvery colored and
shaped a bit like antlers.  When Leonard was able to go to the mountains
I'd gather bits and pieces of mosses, pitch, juniper berries, flower heads, just all
kinds of things, it didn't even need oils added to it.  The smell
was intoxicating.  The name I came up with it - Breath of the Bighorns - was kind
of corny but I just couldn't think of a name that said what I wanted it to.
Have another sniff before you go.        Diane

That sounds like the perfect name for your creation. Can you save what you've collected for awhile until you use it? There are so many things I don't know about these things. I just buy potpourri in a bag in the store. It would be delightful to collect my own mix.

If it smells half as good as it looks it must be wonderful. I really like the name you chose!

Hi Diane,
I can imagine that it smells just like a hike in the forest. There is nothing I like better than being amid all the trees taking in the air 'up there'.
