Doing It The Hard Way

After seeing Tim Holtz's configuration boxes I just had to try one and see how it turned out.  I happened to find a ratty looking shadowbox at SA and brought it home, stripped out the contact paper and added more shelves with cardboard.  Then I lined it all and I think I worked for an entire Saturday just on that.  THEN - I looked at a video of how he did his.  He did his about 100 times easier than me.  And his was crammed full of little things, I love it.  Mine is a little sparse but I decided that I would only add things that I find that I want to put in it.  It might take a while.  But mine will be cheap......and loved!

It's really pretty Diane, I love the little treasures you've put in it so far. Is that a little monk? So cute!

That's a great idea. I've got feathers and broken eggs and little do-dahs that I don't know what to do with, but they are my treasures...still a little girl, aren't I? I think those things are day-brighteners! My grandkids love them too.
